Naturopathic Therapeutic
Injection is a technique in natural medicine, consisting
of injecting low doses of biological solutions (herbal /
plant extracts and homeopathic, anti-homotoxic, nutritional,
vitamin, and mineral solutions, that are injected to stimulate
natural healing. Naturopathic therapeutic Injection is very
useful for many muscle, joint, tendon and sports injuries
as well as degenerative conditions.
Biological solutions
commonly used include, Traumeel
combined with Lymphomyosot (LMsot), or BIO-AR combined
with LIMPHOMIOTI (LM-OTI) or BIOLIMPHOTI (BL-OTI),
often used for inflammations and acute sports injuries
such as sprains, contusions, post-traumatic swelling
and other soft tissues injuries such muscular tears.
Traumeel in combination with Zeel, or BIO-AR in combination
with ZOTI, are useful when in the sub-acute stage.
Zeel combined with Coenzyme Comp or ZOTI combined
with OTICATAL are often used for a chronic injuries,
arthritic degeneration arthritic stiffness and pain
of arthritis, and Zeel combined with LMsot, or ZOTI
combined with LM-OTI or BL-OTI are used when there
is an acute exacerbation of a chronic injury.
Others include
Spascupreel or COLOGELS; used for spasms / muscular
cramps, and Lymphomyosot or BIOLIMPHOTI; used for
lymphatic drainage. Arnica is used for muscle pain,
nux vomica is injected for digestive problems, hepar
comp for liver issues, and echinacea is used to increase
the natural defense system of the body. Solutions
are often combined and injected as a cocktail. Naturopathic
Therapeutic Injections are noninvasive and a non-suppressive
treatment strategy that stimulates the body's natural
defense system.
The various natural
therapeutic injection practices are defined below and the
solutions injected depend on the type of injection being
done and the type of pain being treated:
Mesopuncture (Acupoint
Injections) - Mesopuncture is a merging of mesotherapy (injection
therapy) and acupuncture, and consists of injecting low
doses of biological solutions (herbal / plant extracts and
homeopathic, anti-homotoxic and nutritional, vitamin, and
mineral solutions, that are injected subcutaneously along
meridian pathways and into specific acupuncture points by
those trained in acupuncture and mesotherapy or injection
therapy.
Mesotherapy / Biopuncture
/ homeopuncture - consists of injecting low doses of biological
solutions (herbal / plant extracts and homeopathic, anti-homotoxic,
nutritional, vitamin, and mineral solutions that are injected
subcutaneously (not into acupoints) to either help with
chronic pain or reduce an area plagued with cellulite.
Prolotherapy - consists
of injecting dextrose solutions into areas where pain is
felt in the fibrous tissue that covers bones, to trigger
an inflammatory response, which causes fibrous tissue growth
that can strengthen the area.
Trigger point injection - consists of injecting homeopathic,
anti-homotoxic solutions and analgesia (e.g. bupivicaine,
prilocaine etc) and saline or water directly into trigger
points of muscles were pain is present.
Neural therapy - consists of injecting analgesia (e.g. bupivicaine,
prilocaine, lignocaine etc) directly were pain is present,
to help relieve pain.
